In a recent report by the University of Reading, it found that 34% of those aged 16 to 24 have a money-making side-line of some sort. The side hustle economy is set to reach stellar heights in the next 10 years.

This session explores what it takes to set up a side-hustle, the mindset required for success, ideas for a viable money-making idea, and savvy, practical tools to get you on your way.

Delivered by Rubbi Bhogal-wood who is a speaker for networking events, national radio, LIVE social media channels, podcasts, and panels. Rubbi hosted her first TEDx Talk in July 2019, discussing social media and mental health.

Student Minds’ interactive Look After Your Mate workshop will help develop your confidence to support any friends who maybe struggling by introducing you to tips and tools, spotting the signs, starting a conversation, how to support and when to signpost, as well as looking after yourself in the process.

We are very excited to announce the first Student Menopause Café. We would be delighted if you could join us! It will be a great opportunity for us all to grab a coffee or beverage of your choice, say hello and meet the new members to the Student Menopause Support Network.

The Student Menopause Support Network is a forum, on Teams, for students going through the menopause, to connect with each other, provide mutual support and to share tips and hints on managing the menopause whilst studying. It is a supportive and safe space where students can share both their challenges, solutions, and achievements. The Student Menopause Support Network is open to all students from all University of Chester.
