Poetry Submissions for Campus Roots Event!

We are looking for students to submit poems/creative pieces (such as artwork, short stories, etc) for our Campus Roots event happening on Thursday 24 October. Please email sustainability@chester.ac.uk to submit your creative piece which we will add to the new and upcoming Campus Roots Anthology. Please submit by Friday 18 October for your creative pieces to be shared at the event, we will still accept submissions after this date.

Campus Roots: Growing Community in Nature

The Student Experience and Sustainability teams are inviting our students to enjoy their ‘Campus Roots: Growing Community in Nature’ event – connecting our community by showcasing poetry from across the world over hot chocolate and sweet treats:

Date: Thursday 24th October 4.00pm – 6.00pm.

Location: Vicarage Garden space (Parkgate Road, Chester).

Meeting point: Meet outside Binks Building (Exton Park) at 3.50pm.

Following the event, we will be creating a ‘Campus Roots Anthology’ with the English Department, where students can share their creative skills. If you wish to share your thoughts on the environment around us through an artistic form, then come along and perform on the day (or send them our way via sustainability@chester.ac.uk).

Spaces are limited for this event. Please bring your own reusable cup for a hot drink.
