Are you starting your literature review and don’t know where to start?
This session is aimed at final year undergraudate and postgraduate students and will help you to plan your searches and use time saving search techniques to find the most relevant academic sources. Learn how to use subject specific databases to find high quality academic journals and research papers.

This 30-minute session is designed to give a brief overview of EndNote 21 and why you would use it to help organise and manage your research. The session will include a demonstration of a working EndNote library. In-depth sessions on each aspect will follow later in the month.

This session will show you how to make best use of the functionality within EndNote to organize and personalise your library. It will show you how to use groups and tags to organise your references. You will also learn how to add notes and use the search function available.

T​his session will focus on advanced search strategies using the Education databases. It will enable you to find relevant journal articles for your assignments. It is also an opportunity for you to pop along with any library related questions that you might have.

A​​ considered, replicable, transparent literature search forms the basis of a systematic review. Learn how to plan and construct an effective literature search, gain advice on where to look for the most relevant literature for your discipline, and suggestions for documenting your search and search results.

This session will show you how to use MS Word with your Endnote Library.  You will learn how to insert a reference, edit a reference, we will look at active/passive citation styles and how to remove a reference. This will also cover creating a bibliography and converting the document to plain text.
