End Date: 27 July 2023 1:30 pm

Location: Churchill House, Queen's Park

The Faculty of Science Business and Enterprise is delighted to introduce the World of Work (WOW) series. This brand-new lecture series, hosted by lecturers Fran & Henry from the Department of Management, presents a variety of thinkers to inspire and provide a unique insight into the world of work.

Are you considering a career in consultancy? Not entirely sure whether consulting is for you, what type of consulting to consider, or what consultancies look for when they recruit?

James Brown is an MBA, a freelance management consultant and a former Director at Accenture Strategy & Consulting (www.linkedin.com/in/james-brown-savitas). In this interactive workshop, he will challenge your perception of consulting, explaining why companies hire consultants, what the growth areas are and what consulting life is really like. Consulting isn’t for everybody so James will facilitate an exercise to check whether your passions align with a career in management consulting. Bring lots of questions and be prepared to share your experiences.

All students and staff welcome. Book your place.
