The University of Chester and Chester Cathedral are working with NatWest bank to deliver free finance workshops for participants aged 18+.  This first ‘Building Blocks’ workshop will help participants to get to grips with the money basics: an introduction to banking, understanding your money, how to budget, borrowing and credit scores.  It is great for those starting out on their money journey.

Come along to a relaxed, friendly meet-up where you can:

  • Ask questions and get advice on anything you’re unsure about.
  • Meet staff from Student Services and Chester Students’ Union (CSU) and find out how they can support you.
  • Connect with other students in a similar situation and begin building new friendships.
  • Pick up tips to make the most of your first weeks at Chester and feel more at home on campus.
  • Hear from current Clearing students, who’ll be on hand to share their own experiences and answer your questions.

No need to book — just drop in! These events are informal and relaxed, so simply come as you are. Tea, coffee, and snacks will be available!
