Halloween mask making and quiz

Join our School of Natural Sciences for a fundraiser for Bats without Borders.

Materials will be provided to create your own mask for your Halloween party. Requested donation: £3 per mask, £1 for quiz. Donations can be made here.

Bats are not just for Halloween… but it is a really great time to raise awareness and funds to support them in the wild. Bats without Borders is dedicated to the conservation of bat species across southern Africa and this Halloween fundraising event will contribute to much needed grassroots conservation and research activities on the ground.

All Souls Service

​This year we shall again be holding a quiet and peaceful service of prayer and readings for All Souls.

Everyone, students and staff, are warmly invited to join us for this service.

This is a poignant service, at which we commemorate family, friends and loved ones who have passed away. Staff and students are invited to submit a name or names of loved ones which will be read out during the service. Please email your names to chaplaincy@chester.ac.uk.

During the service there will be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of your loved ones departed.​

Fancy Dress Swap Shop

The University’s first-ever Fancy Dress Swap Shop will be opening on Tuesday 22 October. 

Led by our students, the fancy dress swap shop has been designed to help you find costumes you may need for social events during your time at University. 

  • Tuesday 22 October 
  • 11am – 1pm 
  • Small Hall, Exton Park. 

Not got a costume to swap? No worries! There will be a £1 (cash) per token system in place to give you access to items you may need.
