Co-hosts Elohor Udubrae, Dr. Alex Fenton and Dr. Trevor Omoruyi will be discussing the important topic of settling into the UK for international students. This includes overcoming and dealing with cultural differences and culture shock, homesickness, new ways of learning and assessment and navigating accommodation, transport and health in the UK.
They’ll also be talking about fun things to do in Chester and beyond to make your stay more memorable, make friends and build social capital. We’ve also invited special guests, international students Thisanda Ayuka and Asha Sandhia Singaram to talk about their stories and experiences and share their tips and advice for settling into the UK.
