In October, we asked all students to complete our All-student Survey. Check out the feedback from our Sustainability team in response to your comments about sustainability, transport and travel.
Public transport/bus provision
We’re already working with other key stakeholders across the city to work towards improving public transport provision. This is a key area as we seek to not only reduce carbon emissions but also air pollution across the city.
Parking
- We’ll work with Estates & Facilities to identify suitable locations for waste skips and move picnic benches to free up additional parking spaces.
- Unfortunately it is not practical to add any additional parking spaces to our sites, however we will be reviewing the parking policy and how it is implemented as part of our work to deliver the University’s Environmental Management System that aims for continuous improvement across all University activities which impact our local environment. There will be plenty of opportunity for students to feed into this process.
