Want to add another certification to your portfolio? The University’s Sustainability team is offering students and staff the chance to take part in Carbon Literacy training this February!
What are the benefits of Carbon Literacy training?
- More and more organisations are recruiting individuals who have sustainability-related knowledge – this qualification will help you stand out when applying for jobs.
- Carbon Literacy counts towards the Chester Difference Award (CDA).
- Discover the “good news” related to sustainability – it’s not all doom and gloom!
- Take action and make a positive difference wherever you go.
- Understand how much you are already helping the planet, and what else you can do to help the world around you.
What’s involved?
To become carbon literate, participants must attend both sessions and complete an assessment piece:
- Tuesday 18 February, 1pm – 5pm.
- Wednesday 19 February, 1pm – 5pm.
Please note: These specific sessions will be held in-person at Queen’s Park site, Chester (in this instance).
