New to the University?

Check out the accounts below that might be worth following on Instagram during your time at the University:  

@uochester_lis – Our Learning and Information Services team can help with everything from IT issues, such as printing and laptop concerns, to library services, such as finding books and sourcing journals. 

@chesterstudentsunion – Also known as CSU, Chester Students’ Union is responsible for representing students and ensuring you get the most from your @uochester experience. They look after all our student societies.  

@acadskillsuoc – The Academic Skills team at UoC can help enhance your academic and maths/stats skills. They can help you with anything from referencing and time management to academic integrity and data analysis. 

@uocvolunteering – Our Volunteering and Mentoring team offer opportunities to help out and do your part for the community and others. 

@uoc_chaplaincy – UoC Chaplaincy is a safe and welcoming space for all faiths and none. They run regular social events in addition to offering a range of support. 

@uocsportactivelifestyle – The Sport and Active Lifestyle team look after all things fitness! They offer gym services, swim bookings, class bookings and many more!  

@uoc_sustainability – Our Sustainability team are involved in everything from recycling to managing the University’s CO2 emissions – and showing students (and staff) how to live sustainably.  

@universityofchestergardens – Our Grounds and Gardens team is responsible for all the beautiful flowers and greenery at our sites. They also provide lots of fresh produce to our catering teams and also help to run our own UoC beehives!  

@chestercareers – Careers and Employability offer advice, graduate and earn while you learn job vacancies. They also run lots of great career workshops and training opportunities too.  

@uocathleticsunion – The Athletics’ Union is home to 40+ sports clubs and run our annual Varsity competition.
