Are you starting your course early as part of a Health, Medicine and Society (HMS) programme? We’re excited to welcome you to the University of Chester!

To help you settle in and feel supported, we’re hosting a series of informal Welcome Roadshow events across our sites — designed especially for students starting in HMS.

When & Where?

• Monday 22 September – University Centre Warrington (UCW)
• Tuesday 23 September – University Centre Birkenhead (UCB)
• Thursday 25 September – Wheeler Building, Chester

All events run from 12pm to 2pm

What to expect:

• A friendly, drop-in marketplace of support and services
• Meet the University teams here to support your journey – including Student Services, Careers, and more
• Chat to external support organisations offering advice on mental health, wellbeing, and local community resources
• Grab useful resources (and maybe even a few freebies!)
• Ask questions, meet new people, and start your university journey feeling confident and connected

The events will take place on a day where you are in University. You don’t need to book – just come along, say hello, and see what’s available to support you from day one.
