Starting university is an exciting new chapter.  Your Academic Induction is designed to help you settle in, connect with your tutors and classmates, and feel confident as you begin your studies.

These important sessions will take place during your first week, and we expect all new students to attend. They will help you:

• Understand your course structure and what’s expected of you
• Meet your academic tutors, support staff, and your Connect Hub team
• Connect with your classmates and begin building your student community
• Get to know the systems, spaces, and resources you’ll use throughout your degree

Academic Induction sessions for new SPQ (District Nursing) and SCPHN students are scheduled to take place during the week commencing 22nd September 2025. Please note that academic induction session dates, times, and locations vary by course.
