Start Date: 4 December 2023 5:30 pm
End Date: 4 December 2023 7:30 pm
Location: McCarthy Room, Pyramid Arts Centre Palmyra Square Warrington WA1 1BL
This evening event is hosted by Warrington Borough Council and charity Pure Leapfrog to mark the global Carbon Literacy Action Day.
Find out more about Carbon Literacy and how it can help you develop your own response to the climate emergency. Hear from several organisations, including the University’s Sustainability team, who are already using Carbon Literacy in Warrington, and learn about a new local initiative to boost the uptake of Carbon Literacy by businesses and Parish Councils.
Refreshments will be available from 5.15pm for a 6pm start. The event will finish at 7.30pm.
In line with the Carbon Literacy Action Day theme for this year, ‘Bigger, Better, Bolder’, this event makes up part of a wider programme of events co-ordinated by the Warrington Climate Emergency Commission. It is open to anyone in Warrington who is interested to find out more about Carbon Literacy and how it could benefit you or your organisation.
