Students and staff of the University of Chester are invited to ‘sit under the world’ in our beautiful Chester Cathedral.

The Gaia installation measures six metres in diameter, with 120 dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface. The artwork provides the opportunity to see our planet on this scale, floating in three-dimensions

This reflective hour is a time to stop and breathe, to listen to stories, music and poetry. Gaia gives us a timely backdrop to consider our beautiful & sacred planet that needs to be nurtured for future generations.

The reflective time will be 2.30-3.30 pm followed by free refreshments in the Cathedral.
