Part 1:

  • Thursday 4 July
  • 11am-12pm
  • Churchill Brasserie, Queen’s Park

Co-hosts Elohor Udubrae, Dr. Alex Fenton and Dr. Trevor Omoruyi explore the connection between international students and the commonwealth. At the University, we are particularly blessed with many students from the Commonwealth, in particular Nigeria, Pakistan and India, but also Malaysia, Ghana, Bangladesh and many more. We invite guests to tell their stories and songs of travelling from their home country in the commonwealth to Chester and we explore the commonalities and special bond that we have between commonwealth countries and also the bridge between cultures at University of Chester. We explore culture, music, food and poetry from the Commonwealth.
