Interfaith Week: Debating the Climate Crisis
Start Date: 15 November 2022 5:00 pm
End Date: 15 November 2022 7:00 pm
Location: University Centre Warrington Time Square Warrington WA1 2NT
This event sees the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences collaborate with Warrington Council of Faiths and the environmental charity, Faiths4Change to hold a free public event to commemorate Interfaith Week. What do religions say about the value of the planet and how we should treat it? How might religions provide a motivation for climate action, and what might faith-informed climate action look like? Can faiths work together for climate action? These are just some of the pressing questions that will be debated by panellists. This is a great opportunity for students to develop their knowledge of religions and to join the debate.
