Are you a new midwifery student starting in September?  Once you’ve completed online enrolment and arrived on site, you’ll need to collect your University of Chester Student ID card from a designated collection point.

Your Student ID card is essential – it grants access to key university facilities (including the library and halls of residence) and acts as your official proof of student status. You’ll also be given a lanyard when you collect it.

Please note: All students must wear their ID card while on university sites.

Starting university is an exciting new chapter.  Your Academic Induction is designed to help you settle in, connect with your tutors and classmates, and feel confident as you begin your studies.

Welcome and Orientation: In-Person Enrolment for New International Students

Are you a new international student starting your studies in April?

To officially become a student, in-person enrolment is the final step in your enrolment process. The Study Visa and Compliance Team has already emailed you with important information about your enrolment, including other essential steps you must take before you arrive and after you arrive. Please refer to the email from the Study Visa and Compliance Team for full instructions and ensure everything is completed before you attend in-person enrolment.

3 Steps to Complete Your Enrolment:


1. Complete Online Enrolment

– Visit https://login.chester.ac.uk/evlive/

2. Pay Tuition Fees

– You must pay £8,000 towards your tuition fees before you travel to the UK.
– Ensure the payment reference includes your Chester student ID number.
– Delays in payment may prevent you from enrolling and result in visa cancellation.

3. Attend In-Person Enrolment

The final step of your enrolment is to attend In-person International Enrolment at the Seaborne Library, Exton Park. The sessions will be held on the following dates:
25th April
28th April
30th April
2nd May

The Study Visa and Compliance Team will email you to confirm specific details about in-person enrolment.
Once you have completed all 3 steps, you will be able to access official letters confirming your student status.

Important Reminders:
– Complete your online enrolment within the specified timeframe. Make sure you have also added your eVisa share code and your travel details to CAS Shield.
– Pay your tuition fees before travelling to the UK.
– Attend one of the in-person enrolment sessions at Seaborne Library.
