Starting university is an exciting new chapter.  Your Academic Induction is designed to help you settle in, connect with your tutors and classmates, and feel confident as you begin your studies.

These important sessions will take place during your first week, and we expect all new students to attend. They will help you:

  • Understand your course structure and what’s expected of you
  • Meet your academic tutors, support staff, and your Connect Hub team
  • Connect with your classmates and begin building your student community
  • Get to know the systems, spaces, and resources you’ll use throughout your degree

Are you a new MSc Adult Nursing student starting in September?  Once you’ve completed online enrolment and arrived on site, you’ll need to collect your University of Chester Student ID card from a designated collection point.

Your Student ID card is essential – it grants access to key university facilities (including the library and halls of residence) and acts as your official proof of student status. You’ll also be given a lanyard when you collect it.

Please note: All students must wear their ID card while on university sites.
