Employer In The Foyer: BET365

For those of you who haven’t yet heard of Employer in the Foyer, it’s a very helpful initiative run by the University’s Careers and Employability department which aims to bring local employers direct to you. A wide range of organisations will be coming to our University sites throughout the academic year, to talk to students about their vacancies, including part-time and casual jobs, graduate training schemes and graduate roles, across all areas of work. This scheme provides a great opportunity to have a friendly chat to organisations about paid work and/or training, and could lead to you being hired or taking your next career steps. 

BET365 will be promoting their Operations Management Graduate Trainee Scheme at Queen’s Park, Bridge House Foyer.

The Venture Programme: Side Hustle Dreams to Business Reality

In a recent report by the University of Reading, it found that 34% of those aged 16-24 have a money making side-line of some sort. The side hustle economy is set to reach stellar heights in the next 10 years. This session explores what it takes to set up a side hustle, the mindset required for success ideas for a viable money making idea, and savvy practical tools to get you on your way. There will be time to ask questions if you have any specific problems relating to time management.

Delivered by Rubbi Bhogal – Wood who is a speaker for networking events, national radio, LIVE social media channels, podcasts and panels. Rubbi hosted her first Tedx Talk in July 2019, discussing social media and mental health.

  • Create strategies to overcome common challenges
