Active Campus is an initiative to support you, and everyone within our University community, to be more active, more often in whichever way you choose. With regular, free, social and not seriously competitive activities on offer, our programme gives you and your friends the opportunity to join in and have fun without the commitment of a sports team or club. You can attend regularly, or choose to attend as and when you feel like it.
Activities can include:
- Badminton
- Table Tennis
- Netball
- Dodgeball
- Cricket
- Football
- Tennis
- Couch to 5K
- Led walks in the local area
- Inclusive Multi-Sport sessions
We also run a weekly 7 a-side Football league within the university community during term time. This is a low-cost option if you are interested in slightly more competition and playing with your friends or as a department team.
There are membership fees and entry dates associated with the league, whereas Active Campus activity sessions are free to students and you can drop in throughout the year. Please check our Portal pages below for further information on all things Active Campus.
