What’s new for 2025/26? 

Throughout the summer our Estates and Facilities has been busy working on some key projects ready for the new academic year 🥳 👇

📍The Bar, Exton Park 

The Union Bar has had a glow-up for 2025/26. 

We’ve improved the Back Bar Area to accommodate a new refreshments area, social lounge and multi-use events space. We’ve also added a new folding wall which can be used for larger events. 

The Front Bar Area has also had a refresh – there’s a new-look bar, lounge seating, a raised dining area and refreshed sports areas with bespoke a bespoke dartboard wall.

📍 The Canopy, Exton Park

We’ve got a brand-new outdoors space at Exton Park. Located between Astbury and Fisher, The Canopy will host a range of outdoor events throughout Welcome Week.

📍 Grosvenor Common Room, Exton Park 

We’ve also given Grosvenor Common Room some TLC over summer. In the Common Room you can now find a pool table along with some comfy new furniture.

📍 Thomas building, Exton Park 

We’ve refurbished the ground and fist floor labs to provide a new student project room, reptile room and marine facility. 

📍 FinTech Laboratory, Churchill House, Queen’s Park 

We’ve reconfigured the lower-ground floor to provide new 60+ capacity computer lab. 

📍 Bache Hall

Bache Hall has a brand-new look. We’ve refurbished and redecorated both the interior and exterior of the building, and we’ve also made alterations to the labs to improve functionality.
