Join the Sustainability Team in making your own scrunchies and/or wash bags using a variety or fabric offcuts. All materials and equipment will be provided, and the team will be on hand to help.

The Paris Agreement was signed by 194 Parties in 2015 and is a legally binding treaty, that aims limit average global temperature to well below 2 degrees, and pursue efforts to limit temperature increase to below 1.5 degrees. The 1.5 degree target was added to reflect the most vulnerable nations. It is estimated that between 50 – 200 million people could be displaced due to climate change, by 2050. Many voices can go unheard in the environmental movement, and it is often those at most risk of environmental displacement.

The Climate Action programme is designed for University of Chester staff to improve the sustainability performance of their department. The programme is relaunching with a new look and new actions! Find out more about the changes to the programme in this launch event.
