  • International Student Toolkit – The International Student Toolkit is an online resource providing essential information to support you throughout your studies.
  • Pre-arrival Support Module – The pre-arrival support module is an online resource for international students, designed to help them prepare for studying in UK higher education and settle into life in the UK before and upon arrival. A link to the module will be provided in your Welcome email.
  • Student Support – We pride ourselves on providing high-quality support across our campuses, offering guidance and advice to help every student enjoy a positive and enriching experience at the University of Chester.
  • SAP Language LineThrough SAP, you can also speak with legal advisers and medical professionals. If English isn’t your first language, a language line is available to connect you with an interpreter so you can talk in the language that feels most comfortable.

International students only. Complete your in-person enrolment, and meet other students from your course and across the University. All international students need to attend just one in-person enrolment day once they have arrived in the UK, regardless of their visa status. British citizens who are classed as overseas fee-paying students must also attend a session and bring their British passport with them.

You must book a timeslot to attend the in-person enrolment. Please click here for more information and guidance.

If you do not have a timeslot appointment, you may not be able to complete your enrolment and will be asked to return another day.

If you are an international student with a visa, you will need to bring the following to your enrolment session:

• Your passport (this needs to be the original passport; we cannot accept a copy or a photograph)

• Your e-visa share code (read more about how to access your e-visa and generate a share code on our website: Entering the UK)

• Your flight details (e.g., your boarding pass, travel booking confirmation, or flight ticket).

Please ensure that you have completed the following steps before you attend your in-person enrolment:

  1. Complete your online enrolment via Evision (login details will be sent in your Welcome email before your course starts).
  2. Upload your student ID photo, download the UoC App, and MFA app.
  3. Pay at least £8,000 towards your tuition fees before travelling to the UK. UK. Please speak to fees@chester.ac.uk to resolve any payment queries before you travel to the UK. 
  4. Add your eVisa share code and travel details to CAS Shield, and bring your passport to your enrolment event.
