We’ve put together a list of some of our favourite activities happening around the University and across the city to help you make the most of the summer.
🤝 Want to give back to the community while boosting your CV? Our Volunteering team has compiled a range of local summer opportunities on their Volunteer Hub.
🏃 Our Sport and Active Lifestyle team has updated the activeCHESTER timetable with a range of free sessions throughout July and August. Don’t forget, they’re also offering student summer gym memberships for just £15 per month for July and August.
🙏 The Chaplaincy team is continuing to offer free weekly activities throughout the summer, including gardening, creative workshops and themed tea parties!
🎪 Storyhouse in the Park features 10 weeks of open-air theatre, film, comedy and music, alongside al fresco drinks, wood-fired pizza and street food in Grosvenor Park.
⛪ The Cathedral’s latest exhibition Kiosk by Wolfgang Weileder runs from 11th July to 31st August at Chester Cathedral.
