STAR is a student-led group supporting the University’s University of Sanctuary work. Whether you have lived experience of migration or asylum, or simply want to learn more and take action, everyone is welcome.
What does STAR do?
- Work with university staff and community partners, including Chester City of Sanctuary
- Plan and promote events that raise awareness and encourage inclusion
- Play a key role in organising and promoting Refugee Week 2026 activities
Why join?
- Make a real and meaningful difference
- Meet like-minded students and work as a team
- Build skills in leadership, teamwork and event planning
We will be holding an in-person information session on Wednesday 4th March, 12pm-1pm at Exton Park where you can find out more and meet others involved. If you’re interested, please complete the short booking form.
