Join us for a trip to the big city.  Take in the famous sites and admire the skyline.

  • Thursday 14 August
  • Meet at Chester Train Station at 9.30am 

Escape the city and join us for a relaxing day in beautiful Delamere Forest. We’ll take the train through the scenic Cheshire countryside, arriving right at the heart of the forest. Wander peaceful woodland trails, enjoy the fresh air, and soak up the quiet beauty of nature. A visit wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the traditional Delamere Station House Café, a cosy spot perfect for tea, coffee, and homemade treats before heading back.

Join us at Exton Park Community Hub for a relaxed and welcoming ArtZone session. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just looking to unwind through creativity and craft drop in to explore art materials, try new techniques, and connect with others. All abilities are welcome—no experience needed, just bring your imagination.

Join us for a Student Baking Session. Take a break and get creative in the kitchen at Bake It Till You Make It. Join us at the Exton Park Community Hub for a fun, hands-on baking session designed just for students. Whether you’re a total beginner or a star baker, come along to relax, learn new skills, and enjoy some tasty treats.

Take a break and join us in our beautiful Community Hub Garden for a relaxed garden party with something for everyone. Enjoy delicious cakes and drinks while playing classic outdoor games. Feeling creative? Try your hand at our fun garden craft activity, making your very own wire sculpture to take home. 


  • Tea Party: No Place Like Home

Join us for an afternoon of tea, treats, and stories as we celebrate the many meanings of home. Wherever you are from, bring your favourite memories, photos, and traditions to share. This is a chance to connect with other students and reflect on where we come from. Bring your best pics, share your memories, sip, snack, and connect.
