International Men’s Day takes place on Tuesday 19 November.

This International Men’s Day we would like to highlight support available for men and boys who may be struggling with their mental health and wellbeing.

Don’t forget, if you ever need support, our Student Services team is here to help.

The University has a team of dedicated Wellbeing and Mental Health Advisers. Working across all our sites, they can help you settle into university and support you with key areas which may be impacting your studies or your student experience.

You can access our 24/7 Student Assistance Programme (SAP) anytime, day or night by phoning 0800 028 3766. Through SAP you can receive in-the-moment support and counselling from a therapist, plus advice on a range of topics including legal, housing, financial, relationship or medical information from qualified advisers.

Our University Wellbeing Advisers, Mental Health Advisers and Counsellors are also available to offer support when you need it. To find out more about the service or ask about booking an appointment please email: studentservices@chester.ac.uk or call 01244 511550.  All of this support is available free of charge to all students at the University
