Wellbeing and Mental Health team  

Our Wellbeing and Mental Health team offers students practical information, support and advice with any issue impacting on your studies. This support is available for ALL students.   

The team can help with issues including anxiety, stress, depression and many more. You can book a 30-minute appointment with one of our advisers which may take place over telephone, video call or in person at some sites.

All students also have access to our Student Assistance Programme 24/7, 365 days of the year. You can call the dedicated helpline on 0800 028 3766 at any time to access emotional support and practical guidance.  

Academic Skills team  

Need extra help with revision? All students can make use of our Academic Skills’ (ASk) team’s revision and exam management techniques and resources. Click here for more information. 

You can book 1-2-1 appointments with an Academic Skills Adviser or Academic Skills Adviser (Maths and Statistics) to discuss revision techniques and formulate an individual revision plan. Email ASk@chester.ac.uk

You can also book a group session to discuss revision techniques with our ASk team alongside friends / colleagues. We will design the session around your main concerns and schedule the session at a time / location to suit you – just email ASk@chester.ac.uk.
