This year’s International Journal of Arts and Design Education (iJade) Conference takes place on Friday 24 November (online) and on Saturday 25 November (in-person at the University).

The conference is open to all students and staff and the theme of this year’s conference is ‘time’. Time, as a complex social phenomenon, shapes our relationship with learning and art education is not immune to its influence (Alhadeff-Jones, 2017).

The conference will feature papers that reflect a broad range of responses to this topic.

Early bird ticket sales start from £53 and close on Thursday 31 August. Following this date, tickets will be available from £60. Click here to purchase your tickets.

The conference is also currently inviting abstracts of 200 words (maximum) which explore the theme of time. Find out more about submit your abstract here.
