Knowing how to code is an incredibly valuable skill, no matter what your field of study or career background. Tech touches every industry, from things like building websites, to understanding data, or developing technology to solve real-world problems like climate change and disease prevention.
With women representing only 17% of the tech industry, Careers and Employability is working with Code First Girls to help more women gain the skills, confidence and tools they need to kick-start their career in tech through courses and job opportunities.
Code First Girls offers a range of courses from beginners to advanced that can be taken around your current studies or after graduation. The CFG Degree course is sponsored by an employer and can lead to a role with one of the employers.
