We’re pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Cheshire Prize for Literature 2022.

This year entries are open to any writer aged between four and 100 and submissions can range from a short story or a piece of poetry to a script or piece of children’s literature.

Unlike other years, this year there won’t be a theme so you can write about anything that inspires you – and you can also submit one entry in two different categories.

The judges will choose one winner from each category and a prize will be awarded to each category as well as the opportunity to be selected to appear in the Anthology, published by University of Chester Press.

The closing date is 31 January 2023.
